Assessments

A Clearer Understanding of Mental Health and Support Needs

Mental health assessments help identify concerns, understand how symptoms affect daily functioning, and guide appropriate treatment recommendations.

At MQ Counselling Services, assessments are completed using an individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach for teenagers, adults, and families.

Professional Scope

MQ Counselling Services provides clinical counselling assessments to support case understanding, treatment planning, referrals, and documentation within the therapist’s professional scope. These services are not neuropsychological, psychoeducational, parenting-capacity, custody, or court-ordered forensic assessments. When a service outside the therapist’s scope is required, referral to an appropriately qualified professional may be recommended.
